I’ve had the honor of capturing Nista and Ross’s engagement session, wedding day, and now their beautiful maternity session, and watching their love grow has truly been a gift.

Golden Hour Maternity Photos at Lake Louisa State Park

For this session, we chose Lake Louisa State Park, one of my absolute favorite locations for portraits. The rolling hills, tall golden grass, and wide-open skies create the perfect natural backdrop—especially at golden hour, when the light turns warm, soft, and magical.

The moment Nista stepped into the field in her flowing maternity dress, the sunlight wrapped around her perfectly. Ross stayed by her side with the sweetest mix of pride, joy, and excitement. Their connection made every image feel effortless and full of emotion.

We walked along the lakeside, soaked in the breeze, and captured slow, intentional moments—moments that reflected the quiet, beautiful anticipation of this new season in their lives.
