Marina and Alec’s engagement session at Lake Louisa State Park in Clermont, Florida felt like stepping straight into a romantic movie scene. Lake Louisa is known for its rolling hills, tall pines, and dreamy golden fields—and this evening gave us the most perfect light from start to finish.
Starting in the High Golden Grass
We began the session in the wide-open field of tall golden grass. The soft breeze moved through the blades, creating this beautiful, sweeping motion that added so much magic to their photos. Marina and Alec were so natural with each other, laughing, walking hand in hand, and settling into the moment so effortlessly.
The way the sun hit the grass during this time of day was unreal—warm, glowy, and perfectly flattering. These two looked incredible in that golden light.
Exploring the Tall Pine Forest
From there, we walked over to the tall pine trees, one of my favorite spots in the park. The pines create clean lines and a sense of calm that completely transforms the look of the session. It’s the kind of backdrop that feels timeless and peaceful. Marina and Alec brought such a soft, romantic energy to this part of the session, making every shot feel intimate and relaxed.
Climbing the Hill for Sunset
We ended our session by making our way up the hill—Lake Louisa’s signature sunset lookout point. As the sun began to set, the entire hillside lit up with shimmering golden grass. It looked like the whole landscape was glowing.
Marina and Alec held each other, took in the view, and soaked up the last rays of daylight. The sunset wrapped them in warm tones, giving us some of the most breathtaking images of the evening. It was the perfect ending to a beautiful session.
