Nestled in the heart of historic Sanford, Florida, Venue 1902 provided the perfect backdrop for Kayla and Chase’s unforgettable wedding day. This charming venue, renowned for its century-old brick architecture and lush gardens, seamlessly blends vintage elegance with modern amenities.
The Preparation
The day began with the quiet excitement of getting ready. Kayla, surrounded by her closest friends, was pampered by the talented team at M3 Beauty, who enhanced her natural beauty with a soft, romantic look that perfectly suited the day. Meanwhile, Chase and his groomsmen got ready nearby, full of anticipation for the celebration ahead.
The First Look & The Wedding Party
One of the most meaningful parts of the day was Kayla and Chase’s first look, followed by private vows shared just between the two of them. As a photographer, this is something I always recommend to my couples. It gives them a quiet, intimate moment together before the ceremony, and also allows us to take wedding party photos early, freeing up time after the ceremony for newlywed and family portraits—and most importantly, giving the couple more time to soak in the day together.
The Ceremony
The venue came to life with beautiful purple and silver floral arrangements created by JF Events and Flowers, adorning everything from bouquets and boutonnières to the ceremony arch and reception tables. To capture the magic of the moment in a truly unforgettable way, Kayla and Chase had live painter Ally Allianic create a custom painting of their ceremony in real-time—something that added an artistic and personal layer to their celebration.
Cocktail Hour & Reception
During cocktail hour, instead of a traditional bar, guests were treated to fresh espresso and handcrafted drinks from Mercury Rising Coffee’s charming mobile cart—a unique and cozy touch that everyone loved. Dinner was a delicious experience catered by Premier Events Orlando, offering a menu full of crowd-pleasers. And when it was time to hit the dance floor, Press Play Entertainment kept the party going all night long with a perfect mix of music and energy.
