Katie and Ryan’s wedding day at The Highland Manor in Apopka, Florida was the perfect blend of elegance, tradition, and joyful celebration. From the morning preparations to their choreographed first dance and fun-filled reception, every moment of their day was meaningful, beautiful, and full of love.

Getting Ready at Hilton Garden Inn

The day began next door at the Hilton Garden Inn, where both the bride and groom were getting ready with their wedding parties. Katie spent the morning in hair and makeup with her bridesmaids, surrounded by laughter, anticipation, and the sweetest moments of calm before the festivities.

Ryan and his groomsmen were getting ready nearby as well. Ryan looked incredibly sharp in his black and white tuxedo, while his groomsmen wore classic black tuxes—timeless, clean, and picture-perfect.

Bridal Suite at The Highland Manor

After hair and makeup, Katie made her way to the bridal suite at Highland Manor to step into her wedding gown. She wore a modern, classy dress that fit her beautifully—a perfect match for the historic charm of the venue.

Her bridesmaids wore lovely light blue dresses that added a soft, romantic touch to the color palette. The bridal suite buzzed with excitement as everyone helped Katie with the finishing touches before heading outside for portraits.

Pre-Ceremony Portraits Under the Iconic Oak Tree

I photographed Ryan and his groomsmen first near the massive oak tree where the ceremony would soon take place. The tree’s sweeping branches and natural light made the perfect backdrop for the men’s portraits.

Then it was time for Katie and her bridesmaids. We took full advantage of the beautiful areas around Highland Manor, capturing elegant and heartfelt portraits before the ceremony began. Katie was stunning, and her light blue bridesmaids complemented her perfectly.

A Romantic Ceremony Under the Oak Tree

The ceremony took place under Highland Manor’s iconic oak tree—one of the most breathtaking ceremony spots in Central Florida. The sunlight filtered through the branches just right as Katie and Ryan exchanged their vows surrounded by family and close friends.

Family Photos, Wedding Party & Newlywed Portraits

After the ceremony, we moved smoothly into family portraits and the full wedding party photos. Everyone looked amazing, and the joy radiating from their families made these moments extra special.

Then I took Katie and Ryan around the property for their newlywed portraits. The light was soft, the breeze calm, and the chemistry between these two made every image effortless and romantic. Highland Manor always provides endless opportunities for beautiful portraits, and this day was no exception.

A Fun & Unforgettable Reception

The reception was unforgettable! Katie and Ryan surprised everyone with a choreographed first dance that kicked off the evening with energy and excitement. Their guests cheered them on and kept the dance floor full all night long. The celebration continued until their send-off, ending the night with so much love and joy.
